Earthquake education and emergency time alerting app

The research in this project seeks to broaden the knowledge of the potential lying within personal alerts delivered via smartphones, specifically in the event of an earthquake. In this sense, the research is oriented to area interest of "bringing the message to the community at risk".
The innovation at the core of the research characterizes the known ability to receive information to one's cellular phone. The expected outcome of the research is a series of guidelines, educating the owners of the cellular phone ahead of time.
And in the time of emergency, in a matter of seconds override ongoing activity engaging attention to the message, transmitting information about the dander and induce a rapid yet complex and appropriate motor response.

Education and news

In day to day base, the app will use as an informational tool about earthquakes around the world, news, statistics and much more.

Before a potential disaster will occur, the user gets educated with the emergency procedure in the local municipality.

He is instructed with text and animated images to acknowledge the safe procedures

Take action!

When an earthquake strikes, the screen automatically turns on and a flashing massage with moving lines appear along with autorotated, yet soothing voice telling the user in his local system language "Earthquake Alert".

The contest in Mexico

After the end of the research, this post was produced and leaders of the group along with professors from the Bezalel academy of arts and design attended a conference in Mexico to present it.

There are three classes of people: those who see, those who see when they are shown, those who do not see.
